🚨 Community Safety Alert: 2-in-1 Burglaries 🚨

Greater Manchester Police is reminding residents to remain vigilant following reports of 2-in-1 burglaries, where criminals target homes to steal vehicle keys before making off with the vehicle parked outside.

Offenders often gain entry through insecure doors, windows, or by exploiting weaknesses in home security. Once inside, they search for car keys, handbags, wallets, and other valuables.

How to Protect Yourself:

🔐 Keep all doors and windows locked, even when you are at home.

🔑 Store vehicle keys out of sight and away from doors, windows, and letterboxes.

📡 Consider using a signal-blocking pouch (Faraday pouch) for keyless entry fobs.

🚗 If possible, park vehicles in a garage or well-lit area.

🎥 Install CCTV, video doorbells, or security lighting to deter offenders.

👀 Be aware of suspicious activity in your neighbourhood and report concerns promptly.
